Frank W. Gaulin, Toolmaker, Dies

Frank William Gaulin, 95, a former resident of Middletown, died yesterday at the Cliff Haven Nursing Home in Fall River.
He worked as a toolmaker at the old Naval Torpedo Station, from which he retired in 1932. He later worked for the Simmons Co. in Troy, NY and retired fro that company 15 years ago.
He lived for several years with his daughter, Mrs. Walter Kamph of Middletown.
Mr. Gaulin was born in Saratoga Springs, NY, Sept, 3, 1872, son of Antoin and Matilde Gaulin. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Mary Scott Gaulin. Besides his daughter, he leaves three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mr. Gaulin was a member of the International Machinists Union and the Jermall Presbyterian Church in Watervilet, NY, where he lived for several years.
A service will be held in the Bowen Funeral Home in Watervliet on Monday. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.

Frank W. Gaulin was also married to Hattie A. Gaulin in 1896 and then to Charlotte B. Klein in 1911. They both preceded him in death before his marriage to Mary. Charlotte Klein was the mother of his two daughters, Beatrice and Doris.
