Hulda E. Enevoldsen, 99, of Elwood, NE, died March, 5, 1994, at the Elwood Care Center.

Services were Tuesday at the Farnam Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Schutt officiating. Burial was at the Farnam Cemetery. Reynolds-Love Funeral Home, Lexington, was in charge of arrangements.

She was born Sept. 11, 1894 in Howard County to Carl and Johanna Ruthstrom.

She married Martinus Enevoldsen on Dec. 11, 1912. She spent most of her life in Farnam, where she was a founder of the Farnam Library, was active in the Methodist Church, taught Sunday School, and was a 4-H leader for many years.

In 1967, they moved to a retirement village in Cozad. She moved to the Elwood Care Center in 1983.

Survivors include two daughters, Adnelle Hudson of Lexington and Mesa, Ariz., and Verna Homer of Mesa, Ariz; a sister, Florence Blaire of Wood River; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Enevoldsen was preceded in death by her husband two daughters, Hazel Enevoldsen and Ina Hustead; her parents; five brothers and five sisters.
