FRED THOMAS

Fredrick Rosco Thomas died on Thursday, January 29, in the home of Mrs. Minnie Beck, where he had been taken a few days previously for care and medical treatment. He had been suffering from asthma for a number of years and of late had been falling due to other complications, which caused his death.

Mr. Thomas leaves to mourn his death many friends in Farnam and community. His immediate family had all passed on, including father Noah, mother Nancy, two sisters Martha Abigail and Ora Ellen and one brother, William Lewis. The whereabouts of any living relatives is not known to people here.

He was nearly sixty-eight years of age and had resided in this community about forty years, the last eighteen in town and for several years alone.

The kindness and assistance by friends and the flowers were greatly appreciated by those in charge.

The funeral services were held in the Church of the Nazarene Sunday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. Gray officiating. David Banks, Phyllis Banks, and Mrs. Chas. Davis sang. Interment was in the Farnam Cemetery.
