His height of 6'-6", wild mustache and antics earned him the nickname "The Animal". He had a MLB record of 1-3 with 46 strikeouts and a career ERA of 3.86. He also played for the Hankyu Braves in Japan from 1986 to 1987. After his baseball career, he made the move to acting and appeared in such films as 'Brother' (2000), 'Big Monster on Campus' (2000), 'Buddy' (1997), 'A Boy Called Hate' (1996), 'Little Big League' (1994), 'Mr. Baseball' (1992) and 'Space Jam' (1996). Lesley, who had been suffering from kidney problems and had been living in a nursing home, died from cardiac arrest.
