Ben H. Taylor, an employe of the Clinchfield Railroad, died at his home on Sullivan Street Tuesday morning at 6:30 o'clock, following an illness of three years. He had resided in Kingsport for a number of years, being employed by the Clinchfield Railroad in the capacity of yard conductor.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, one son, Frank, two daughters, Marjorie and Audry and four brothers: Folsom of Johnson City, John of Missouri, Herman of California and Andy of Knojville, and one sister, Mrs. Fred McKeehan of Knoxville.

Funeral services were conducted from the First Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon with Rev. D. Edgar Allen, pastor, in charged, assisted by Rev. G. C. Coldiron. The Masons were in charge after the services at the church. Interment was made in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Johnson City.

Active pallbearers were Robert Meredith, J. M. Reams, W. R. Stafford, D. W. Burgin, D. W. Black, Ray Bridwell, J. D. McCrary, and George M. Frazier.

The flower bearers were members from the Eastern Star and Ladies' Auxiliary to B.R.T. of Erwin. Auxiliary members going from Erwin were Mesdames F. J. Warrick, C. B. Fox, J. B. Webb, Harry Franklin, W. A. Holtshouser and Janette McLain. Others going from Erwin were Mr. C. D. Moss, W. A. Holtshouser, C. B. Fox, Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Webb and Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Miller.
