Helen was born in Greentown, IN March 13, 1921 to her parents, Halsey and Dena (Miller) Williams. She graduated from Union Township High School with the class of 1939. She was a housewife and homemaker and loved her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters, Virginia Lee Paddock of Aurora, IN, Patricia Lockhart of St. Mary's, OH, and Connie La France (husband, Don) of Washington; two sisters, Betty Ellis of Hamilton, OH, and Martha DeWitt of Tipton, IN; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-six years, Durward J. Paddock, married January 18, 1941; two sons, Fred and D. J. Paddock; and a son-in-law, John Lockhart.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 7, 2013, 1:30 p.m. at the Gant Funeral Home, Yorktown chapel, with Pastor Fran Bullock officiating. Burial will follow in the Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie.
Friends may call Tuesday 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to services.
