Wallace Glenn Christopher, 79, of Bakers Ridge Road, Morgantown, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, at his home following a short illness.
He was born June 29, 1921, in Bruceton Mills, son of the late Alvy and Zora Everly Christopher.

He was a member of Suncrest United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during World War II. He retired from Monongahela Power with 42 years of service. He was a member of the Rhododendron Camping Club and enjoyed hunting and NASCAR .

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jeanette Wilson Christopher; two sons and spouses, James W. and Rita Christopher, and Robert L. and Tammy Christopher, all of Morgantown; two sisters, Eunice Christopher, of Morgantown, and Opal White, of Bruceton Mills; a brother and spouse, Donald and Betty Christopher, of Warren, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Genive Lewis, of Albright; two grandsons and companion, Robby Christopher and Kelly Henkins, and Jamie Christopher, all of Morgantown; and two stepgrandsons, Wes ley Stump and Bryan Stump, both of Morgantown.

He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Eric Casey and Kimberly Christopher.

Friends may call at Hastings Funeral Home from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, until the 11 a.m. service, with the Rev. Ronald M. McCauley officiating. Burial will be in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens cemetery.
