Gospel Singer. Considered one of the top gospel performers of the 1990s. After graduating from the Overton High School for the Performing Arts in Memphis, Tennessee he attended the University of Memphis. While there he served as student director of the Memphis State Gospel Choir from 1983 to 1985. In 1986 Draper organized his own gospel choir, "O'Landa Draper and The Associates." Over the course of his short career he was nominated for five Grammys and received the award posthumously for his last album, "Reflections", in 1999. He died at 34 of renal failure.
