Mrs. Florence G. Crippen, 86, of 40 Broad street, died in the Nathan Littauer Hospital. She was born in Albany and a resident of Gloversville for about 35 years. She attended the First Methodist church and was a member of the WCTU and the auxiliary of the Sons of Union Veterans. Survived by sons: Raymond, of Lakeville, CT, Frank of Johnstown, Fulton, NY and Lester and Charles of Gloversville; three grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held at the Rogers A Young funeral home, 33 Prospect Ave, on the May 1st. The Rev. Simer C. Lewis, of the First Methodist church, officiated, burial in Prospect Hill cemetery.
