Milda and Merton Ochsner was united in marriage on March 8, 1939 in Scribner, Nebraska. She worked at Countryside Nursing Home for 17 years. She lived all her life in Madison, Nebraska area except for two years in Illinois in the early 1940's. Milda was a member of Iris Society and Northside Senior Citizen Band.
Survivors are: daughter, Carol S. Ryals (James) of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren, Kathie Jump of Springfield, Missouri, Cindy (Brian) Mefford of Gretna, Nebraska and Michael Hanks of Monroeville, Pennsylvania; great-grandchildren, Tyler (Sydney) Hanks of Springfield, Missouri, Bradley Jump of Springfield, Missouri, Allie LeVeille of Manchester, New Hampshire, Nicholas Mefford of Gretna, Nebraska and Michael Mefford of Gretna, Nebraska; great-great-grandchildren, Braden and Paisley Hanks of Springfield, Missouri and a host of relatives and friends.
Preceded in death By: husband, Merton Ochsner in 1971; father, William Zessin in 1975; mother, Matilda (White) in 1973; brothers Ruben and Willard Zessin and sisters-in-law, Barbara Zessin and Myrtle Zessin.
Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery, Madison, Nebraska.
