CLAY, Ky. -- Vada Lawson, 79, of Clay, died at 6 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2001, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
She was born in Webster County on April 26, 1922. She was a housewife.
She is survived by her husband, William Leroy Lawson of Clay; one brother, Shirley T. Johnson of Bahama, N.C.; one sister, Nethala Nance of Taylor, Mich.; several nieces and a nephew.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Townsend-Jones Funeral Home in Providence with the Rev. Barry Cullen officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Webster County.
Visitation will be from 5:30 until 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until service time Monday
