Daughter of William Henry Harrison and Mary Elizabeth (West) Moxley.
Wife of John Tyson.
Children: Carswell, Elizabeth, Vianna, William Joseph, Barbara, Ada, Andrew Thomas, Hardy, Jenny, Aaron Hilery, John Hilton, Dessie Dell and Otis M.

Funeral Services Held Sunday For Mrs. Jennie Tyson Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Moxley Tyson, 79, who died Saturday, following an heart attack were held 3pm Sunday at Hardens Chapel Church with the Rev. S. D. Walker officiating, assisted by the Rev. Lanier Beasley. Burial was in the church cemetery with Murchison Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. R. S. Wright, Mrs. James L. Wiggins, and Mrs. W. C. Spivey, all of Vidalia, Mrs. W. E. Wommack, Langley, SC, and Mrs. Gordon Mixon, Lyons; seven sons, C. L. Tyson and Joe Tyson, both of Lyons, Andrew, Hardy, Aaron, and John Tyson, all of Vidalia, and Otis Tyson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; 37 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. H. H. Adams of Tarrytown and Mrs. Autley Calhoun of Vidalia; three brothers, Chester Moxley of Vidalia, Andrew Moxley of Tarrytown, and Charley Moxley of Kibbee; and several nieces and nephews.
She had been living here for fifty years and was the daughter of the late Bill and Lizzie West Moxley, both of Johnson County. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
