Canadian Politician. A native of Saint-Ulric-de-Matane (Québec), he studied in his hometown. He began to work in the wood industry in 1901. In 1913, he became owner of a manufacture of doors and frames in Saint-Ulric-de-Matane. In 1936, he moved to Baie-Comeau where he worked as general contractor until 1947. After having already served on the city council of Saint-Ulric-de-Matane during eight years, he was elected this time in Baie-Comeau as alderman, a post he kept from October 10, 1941 to June 9, 1948. In the Québec general elections of 1948, the electors of the district of Saguenay sent him to the Legislative Assembly as their Union Nationale representative. He was re-elected in 1952 and in 1956. He did not represent himself in 1960. He passed away in Baie-Comeau.
