She was born Jan. 15, 1914, in Cass County, the daughter of Frank Z. and Lydia Ring Menge. She married William M. Walters in 1931; he died in 1980.
Mrs. Walters worked at Carl's Market in Bluff Springs and Talkemeyer's Dog-N-Suds in Beards- town for many years.
Survivors: daughter, Muriel L. Zulauf of Arenzville; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; twin great-great-grandsons; and sister, Rosemary Floyd of Chatham.
Services: 10 a.m. today, Sager Funeral Home, Beardstown. Burial: Arenzville North Cemetery.
