Born Sept. 21, 1928 in Romney, W.Va., he was the son of the late Phillip H. and Minnie (Loy) Timbrook. He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Taylor, John, Samuel, Brady and Fred Timbrook; and three sisters, Carrie Casteel, Sydney Wolford and Jean Bobo.
Mr. Timbrook was retired from The American Iron and Metal Company, Cumberland.
Surviving are one son, Larry G. Timbrook, Corriganville; two daughters, Barbara Ann Sponaugle, Cumberland and Della M. Horton and husband Ron, Thermopolis, Wyo.; five grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; special friend and former wife, Bernice M. Smith and two step-sons, James R. Smith and Bernard A. Smith, all of Tucson, Ariz.
At his request Mr. Timbrook will be cremated.
Graveside services will be held in Davis Memorial Cemetery on Thursday at noon with the Rev. David Dayhoff officiating.
The family would like to thank all the employees and staff at the Allegany County Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their loving care of Robert and a special thanks to Victor and Sheila, Brittany and Scott on the second floor.
