Death of Banker James A. Thompson

James A. Thompson, cashier and secretary of the Donahue-Kelly Banking Company on Sutter and Montgomery streets, San Francisco, died last Friday night of acute kidney trouble.

Mr. Thompson was 54 years of age, and was a native of Honolulu, H.I.

The greater part of his life was spent in banking houses.

He served one term as bank commissioner. Since 1893 he has been connected with the Donahue-Kelly Bank and had engraved his name deeply into the confidence of all who knew him.

Mr. Thompson's home is in Mill Valley.

He was one of the oldest members of the Bohemian Club, and last year was president of the same.

One month ago Mr. Thompson lost his wife, her funeral being the day before Thanksgiving. He leaves six children.

The interment, which was private, took place last Monday and the remains were laid to rest by the side of those of his wife in the Sausalito Cemetery.
