Abigail Hovey, third daughter and ninth child of Rev. Samuel and Abigail (Cleveland) Hovey, married in Brookfield, VT, Jan. 1, 1805, Oliver Hibbard, son of Roger and Sarah (Davison) Hibbard. He was born in Lebanon, NH, Sept. 27, 1780; died in East Brookfield, VT, July 29, 1833. She died in East Brookfield, VT, Oct. 11, 1851, surviving her husband eighteen years. He was a farmer. Abigail and Oliver had 7 children.
