Marian was my "little sister" in high school. Every Friday night we would go to the mall together, shop till we dropped, and she would help me pick out a new outfit to wear on my date with her brother, Tom, on Saturday night. Marian now joins her Mom and her big brother, Tom, in Heaven. No words can express the sadness I feel at her passing.

Marian D. Gilsdorf, 51, of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, died peacefully Saturday afternoon on June 18, 2005, at Morningside Health Center where she had resided for the past two weeks.

Marian was born on June 9, 1954, in Sheboygan. She was the daughter of Richard Gilsdorf and the late Jean (Winkler) Gilsdorf. She graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1972, and then attended Lakeshore Technical Institute where she studed dental assistant and business machines. She worked at the Kohler Company for the past 31 years.

Marion was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls and the Sheboygan Falls Conservatoin Club. She enjoyed her work at the Kohler Company, volunteering at the conservation club, as well as traveling.

She is survived by her father and step-mother, Richard and Lucy Gilsdorf of Sheboygan, two brothers, Gerard "Gary" (Linda) Gilsdorf, and John (Karen) Gilsdorf, both of Sheboygan Falls, two nieces, three nephews, two great-nieces, one step-sister, Jenny Schipper, and two step brothers, Michael (Lori) Schipper and Robert (Alice) Schipper.

Marian was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Gilsdorf, an infant sister, Judith, and one brother, Thomas Gilsdorf.
