George bummed aound the country in his teens , and married an SD Catholic girl. He converted to Catholicism, and loved the Knights of Columbus, he left funds to them at the end of his life. He moved to El Passo Tx, had 2 daughters, then moved to LA and started a restaurant called the Windsor. Later he moved back to New York and went into the Jewelry business. Despite his change of religion, he remained close to his Jewish parents and sister Clara.
