Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Bartels, wife of Herman Bartels, of Granite City, who died at the St. Elizabeth's hospital in that city Wednesday at 7 p.m., after a lingering illness, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., at the St. Peters Evangelical church in Granite City. The body will be at the Mercer Funeral Home prior to the funeral.
Mrs. Bartels is survived by her husband, Herman Bartels, two sons, Calvin and Dale Bartels, Granite City, her mother, Mrs Mary Brave, of Wood River; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Schafer, Mrs. William Bardelmeier, Edwardsville; Mrs. Edward Schoenbaum of Wood River, and four brothers, William Brave of Edwardsville; Louis Brave, Edward and Albert Brave of Wood River. Mrs. Bartels formerly resided in Edwardsville.
