Emma Schoenbaum, 83, of Wood River died at 10 a.m. Saturday at the home of her daughter in Plantation, Fla.
She was born on March 9, 1892, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Brave.
She was married to Edward Schoenbaum in Edwardsville on Sept. 17, 1924. He died on March 28, 1966.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lois Bentley of Plantation, Fla., two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Tillie Bardelmeier of Edwardsville.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Marks Funeral Home, 633 E. Lorena Ave., Wood River.
A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Victor Frohne officiating. Burial will be in the Roselawn cemetery, Bethalto.
