Jean Rupp, 81, Independence, MO passed away November 17, 2011 at Kansas City Hospice House.

Jean was born Nov 30, 1929 to Paxton and Grace (Alexander) Outlaw in Kansas City.

She married Mason Molder in 1946 and had two children, William Molder (1949) and Yvonne Molder Ventimiglia (1951).

After many years as a 'working mom', she became a pioneer as a female manager of a predominately male workforce at All Points Van Lines.

Upon retirement, she devoted her time to genealogical research, taught herself personal computers, and managed a genealogical website with a following of over 100 active members. She was able to trace the Outlaw ancestry back to 13th century England.

Jean's highest aim in life was to show love for her family. She cared for her mother, Grace, throughout her life. She devoted much of her time to supporting her children and grandchildren, and was a second mom to her disabled granddaughter, Jeanette. Later in life she developed a special bond with her great-niece, Angela. Jean and her daughter, Yvonne, were inseparable friends.

She is preceded in death by her son, William Mason Molder, granddaughter, Lisa Muzingo, and brother, Jack Outlaw. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Yvonne and Chuck Ventimiglia, grandchildren Jeanette Werthman, Michael "David" Werthman, Brian Molder, and Eileen Molder, brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Wanda Outlaw, nieces and nephews including her special niece Angela Outlaw-Moore.

Visitation 3 to 4 pm, memorial service at 4 pm, Monday, November 21 at Lee's Summit United Methodist Church, 2nd and Douglas, Lee's Summit, MO. Cremation following.
