I, Jonathan Haralson, of the county and State aforesaid _ being advanced in years and knowing that death is the common lot of man, but being of sound mind and memory do make and constitute this my last will and Testament _ viz:
Item 1st My will and desire is that my just debts be first paid.
Item 2nd I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, CLARE _ the negros Bob and Molly and her increase after my death, one choice Horse, one ber (?) carriage and harness, two chocse beds, bedsteads and furniture, one desk, two choice tables, on choice trunk, one choice set of chars and one large armed chair, two choice Cows and calves, fifty dollars in cash, and one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale by any Executors to be at her own disposal at her death. I also give to my beloved wife a Negro woman Fanny and her increase after my death, one brass clock during her life time and at her death to be equally divided between my children, William, Kinchen and Hugh Haralson and Eunice Browning share and share alike.
Item 3rd I give to Lucy Haralson, wife of Vincent Haralson, deceased, and her surviving children by said dec'd, the property and mony (sic) heretofore given to said dec'd, and one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale by my Executors, the said Lucy and each surviving child aforesaid, receiving share and share alike.
Item 4th I give to the surviving heirs of the Body of my daughter, Betsey Weaver, one ninth part of the proceeds of the sales of me Estate by my Executors to be held by my son Herndon Haralson as agent and to be paid over to said heirs as they arrive at lawful age.
Item 5th I give to my daughter, Nancy Haralson, a Negro woman, Esther, which I lent my said daughter about the date one thousand eight hundred and nineteen, when she removed to Tennessee with John Weaver and family, and her increase since said loan, and one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale of my estate by my Executors to be held by my son Herndon Haralson as agent for the use of my said daughter, Nancy, during her lifetime and if said daughter, Nancy, should die, leaving no lawful issue, in that case it is my will that all the aforesaid property bequeathed to her my said daughter, Nancy, be equally divided between my son Herndon Haralson and the heirs of Vincent Haralson, dec'd, and the heirs of Betsey weaver, dec'd, one third each, my wish is that my son Herndon, agent as above, sell said Negro together with the living children she may have as soon after my death as practicable affording to my daughter Nancy the use or the interest of the proceeds during her life time, and then one third to Herndon Haralson, one third to the heirs of Vincent haralso, dec'd, and one third to the heirs of Betsey Weaver, deceased, share and share alike, to be paid by my son Herndon Haralson as they are at lawful ages.
Item 6th I give to my son Herndon Haralson one Negro man by the name of Jack together with the property and many heretofore given him and one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale of my estate by my Executors
Item 7th I give to my son, William Haralson, the following negros viz: Pots, Abram and Mariah together with the increase of said negros and also all the money and property heretofore given him and one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale of my estate by my Executors.
Item 8th I give to my daughter, Eunice Browning, the following negros viz: Lewis, Lender and Malissa and their increase and one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale of my estate by my Executors.
Item 9th I give to my son, Kinchen L. Haralson, the following negros viz: Simon (?), Wesley and Minora together with the money and property heretofore given him and one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale of my estate by my Executors. It is also my will that my son, Kinchen, have the use and benefit of the farm and premises whereon I now live, together with the use of all the horses and stock necessary to carry on the farm, also the corn fodder and grains for the carrying on of the far as also the plows, gear and farming utensils until the twenty fifth of December eighteen hundred and thirty three. It is furthermore my will that my son, Kinchen, have the use of all my Negroes not heretofore or hereinafter disposed of except the negros left my wife (i.e. Bob, Molly and Fanny) and my wish is that they remain on the farm with my son, Kinchen, until the twenty fifth of December, Eighteen hundred thirty three and then that he divide the crop with my wife giving his farm the three hands a proportion able part or as they may agree.
Item 10th I give to my son, Hugh Haralson, the negroes Frank ,Lucinda and Nelson, and the mony (sic) and property heretofore given him, together with one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale by my Executors.
Item 11th My sill is that the land whereon I live and all the Negroes I may die _______ of, my stock of all kinds, household furniture not herein before disposed of be by my executors sold as soon after the twenty fifth of December Eighteen hundred and thirty three as practicable and be equally divided between my wife, my seven children or their heirs and Lucy Haralson, wife of Vincent Haralson, dec'd, and her surviving children by said dec'd, giving said Lucy and her surviving children one ninth part, my wife and my seven children one ninth part each share and share alike, my will is that my executors dispose of all my Estate both real and personal, not heretofore disposed of and divided equally between my wife, my seven children or their heirs (except two ninths of the proceeds of said sale by my Executors giving to Nancy Haralson and her heirs and the heirs of Betsey Weaver, dec'd, by John Weaver, is to be placed as before directed in the possession of Herndon Haralson, agent as aforesaid, and to be distributed by him as herein before directed, and Lucy Haralson, wife of Vincent Haralson, dec'd, and her surviving children by said deceased, giving said Lucy and her surviving children each an equal part share and share alike, of one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale by my executors and my wife and seven children each one ninth part as aforesaid.

Item 6th I give to my son Herndon Haralson one Negro man by the name of Jack together with the property and many heretofore given him and one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale of my estate by my Executors
Item 7th I give to my son, William Haralson, the following negros viz: Pots, Abram and Mariah together with the increase of said negros and also all the money and property heretofore given him and one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale of my estate by my Executors.
Item 8th I give to my daughter, Eunice Browning, the following negros viz: Lewis, Lender and Malissa and their increase and one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale of my estate by my Executors.
Item 9th I give to my son, Kinchen L. Haralson, the following negros viz: Simon (?), Wesley and Minora together with the money and property heretofore given him and one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale of my estate by my Executors. It is also my will that my son, Kinchen, have the use and benefit of the farm and premises whereon I now live, together with the use of all the horses and stock necessary to carry on the farm, also the corn fodder and grains for the carrying on of the far as also the plows, gear and farming utensils until the twenty fifth of December eighteen hundred and thirty three. It is furthermore my will that my son, Kinchen, have the use of all my Negroes not heretofore or hereinafter disposed of except the negros left my wife (i.e. Bob, Molly and Fanny) and my wish is that they remain on the farm with my son, Kinchen, until the twenty fifth of December, Eighteen hundred thirty three and then that he divide the crop with my wife giving his farm the three hands a proportion able part or as they may agree.
Item 10th I give to my son, Hugh Haralson, the negroes Frank ,Lucinda and Nelson, and the mony (sic) and property heretofore given him, together with one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale by my Executors.
Item 11th My sill is that the land whereon I live and all the Negroes I may die _______ of, my stock of all kinds, household furniture not herein before disposed of be by my executors sold as soon after the twenty fifth of December Eighteen hundred and thirty three as practicable and be equally divided between my wife, my seven children or their heirs and Lucy Haralson, wife of Vincent Haralson, dec'd, and her surviving children by said dec'd, giving said Lucy and her surviving children one ninth part, my wife and my seven children one ninth part each share and share alike, my will is that my executors dispose of all my Estate both real and personal, not heretofore disposed of and divided equally between my wife, my seven children or their heirs (except two ninths of the proceeds of said sale by my Executors giving to Nancy Haralson and her heirs and the heirs of Betsey Weaver, dec'd, by John Weaver, is to be placed as before directed in the possession of Herndon Haralson, agent as aforesaid, and to be distributed by him as herein before directed, and Lucy Haralson, wife of Vincent Haralson, dec'd, and her surviving children by said deceased, giving said Lucy and her surviving children each an equal part share and share alike, of one ninth part of the proceeds of the sale by my executors and my wife and seven children each one ninth part as aforesaid.
Item 12th I do hereby and in the presents appoint and constitute my son Kinchen L. Haralson and Thomas G. Lanes (?) my Executors to c___ this my last will and testament into Execution according to tenure(?).

Winn and Samuel Thompson, two of the Subscribing witnesses to the within last will and testament of Jonathan Haralson, deceased, and on oath saith that they saw him subscribe the same, and that they each believed him to be of perfect sound mind and disposing memory at the time of his signing the same, and that they in the presence of each other, together with William James and William ____ and in the presence of the testator subscribed their names as witnesses there to.
