Pearl Virginia Smith, 83 of Huntington and formerly of St. Marys, died Jan 14,1999, in Lawrence Co,Ohio. She was born Feb. 12, 1915 in Sistersville to the late Harvey and Mary Bickerstaff Haught. She retired from the former Colin Anderson center in St. Marys with 20 years of service. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Chruch in St. Marys. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ron E. and Joanna Smith of Huntington; one granddaughter, Alison Smith of Huntington, three sisters, Isabelle Kannan of New Matamoras, Ona Robertson of Irving Texas and Ida Trolin of Balitmore, Md and three brothers, Clair Haught of Middlebourne, Pete Haught of Naples, Fla and Oral Haught of Mooresville, Ind. She was preceded in death by her husband Everett Thomas Smith; and two brothers, Gale Haught and Chuck Haught. Services were Tuesday at Ruttencutter Funeral Home with Rev. Hayward Perkey ofifciating with burial in St. Marys IOOF Cemetery.
