Benyahmin Ben Yahudah, 24, of Bogart, GA was killed in the suicide bombing in Baghdad, Iraq, Wednesday July 13, 2005 while handing out candy to children. He was born a Hebrew Israelite in Fulton County, GA to Leah Yahudah and the late Absalom Yahudah on September 27, 1980 in the comfort of their home.
Benyahmin Ben Yahudah was blessed to know only the ways and teachings of Yahweh and the Torah for the whole of his life. He was home schooled in Madison County, Hull, GA along with four other siblings until he received his G.E.D. and attended Athens Technical College at the age of fifteen. At Athens Technical College he studied marketing management and electronics. Benyahmin wanted to be a part of the military since a young child. He died a military specialist combat field medic and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for great dedication and bravery.
Benyahmin was also blessed to grow up with his older siblings, Kirk Sims, Elaine Olga Adams, Bethsheba Baht Yahudah, Shoshanah Baht Yahudah, and younger siblings, Yahosuah Ben Yahudah and Avigail Baht Yahudah. Benyahmin Yahudah had no children of his own but leaves behind three nieces, one nephew and a fiancÈe, all of which he loved and cherished very deeply. Benyahmin has a host of friends that are too numerous to list here. However, everyone remembers his kindness, warm, free, loving, joyful spirit and stern personality no matter what capacity their friendship was to Benyahmin. We know his presence will be immensely missed by all that had contact with him.
The Yahudah family invites and welcomes any and all that were friends, family, or knew Benyahmin Yahudah to his funeral on Monday, July 25 at 2 p.m. The family will meet at Bernstein Funeral Home, 3195 Atlanta Hwy. at 1:00 p.m. Service and burial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park at 2 p.m. A gathering will be held at the Yahudah home for family, close friends and loved ones afterward.
The Yahudah family thanks all that have expressed sympathy, gifts, tears and blessings for all of our loss.
