Everett Pettijohn Funeral Conducted at Sonoma, Calif.

Everett Howard Pettijohn, 71, of San Francisco, Calif., died on Jan. 8. He was a graduate of Ritzville high school with the class of 1911.

Pettijohn was a cousin of Mrs. Henry Ahlers of Ritzville. He is also survived by his wife, Joy Mary Pettijohn of San Rafael; two daughers, Mrs. Wayne Crookston of Boise, Ida., and Mrs. Richard Daucette of Riverside, Calif.; one son, David E. Pettijohn of Palo Alto, Calif.; four grandchildren and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Cecil Pettijohn of Sonoma, Calif., and Mrs. H. W. Pettijohn of San Francisco.

A native of LeSueur, Minn., Pettijohn was a resident of San Rafael recently. He was a lifetime member of the Seattle Musicians union No. 76, AFM, where he lived for a while and publisher of the Cordova Times in Alaska for 22 years. He was a member of BPOE and St. George's Episcopal church of Cordova.

He was recently employed by the Independent Journal of San Rafael as a printer and typographer and was affiliated with Pettijohn Bros., printers of San Rafael. He was a member of the San Francisco Typographical Union No. 21, AFL-CIO.

Funeral services were held Jan. 11 with interment at Mountain cemetery, Sonoma, with the Rev. Edward Allen, minister of the First Baptist church of San Francisco, officiating.
