He graduated from Harrisonburg High School, and then from the United States Military Academy, West Point, in 1922. He served three years at Fort Myer, Arlington, VA, and was sent to Fort Bliss, TX in March 1931. He was killed while playing polo at Fort Bliss when his pony lost its footing and fell on him.
He was predeceased by his parents, Christian Robert Bosserman and Mary C "Molly" Garrison Bosserman; and a brother, Maurice A Bosserman. He was survived by his twin brothers, Charles David Bosserman and Jacob Clarence Bosserman; and his sister, Mary Christian Bosserman.
Interment on September 22, 1931.
