Death of Rev. Dr. C. H. Baldwin

News was received in Hinsdale yesterday of the death Sunday of Rev Dr Charles H Baldwin, 60, at the home of his wife's parents at Beaman, Ia.

Mr Baldwin was the son of the late Chauncey Baldwin of Hinsdale.

He was educated in the Hinsdale academy and Williams college, graduated from the latter institution in 1863.

He was for 17 years pastor of the second Presbyterian church at Amsterdam, N.Y., Cleveland, O., and Medford. The degree of doctor of divinity was conferred on him from Union college.

He leaves a widow, and a son, Hume, a student at Williams college, also a half-brother, Henry W Baldwin of Hinsdale, and three sisters Mrs C K Brewster of Worthington, Mrs Howard Adams and Miss Katherine Baldwin of Little Rock, Ark.

The funeral will be held at Johnstown, N.Y. tomorrow.
