Elizabeth Duke was the New Years baby of January 1, 1889 in Wellsburg, Utah. She was the 7th of 12 children of Ethan Allen Duke and Martha Jane Parcell Duke. She married John Leroy Duncan on the 10th of October 1917 and they had two children together; John L Duncan born 30 June 1921 and Elizabeth Jane Duncan born 7 Nov. 1922.
Elizabeth lived a life of service, was a hard worker and lived a very long life and beloved by many. At her passing she was outlived by both of her children, many grand children and great grand children and great great grandchildren.

Survivors: Son, John L Duncan, Bountiful; daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) and Lamont Gardner, Salt Lake City; 13 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 2, 1987 at 1:00 pm at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 2nd Eastc where friends may call Wednesday 6-8pm and Thursday one hour prior to service. Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
