ROY A. MATHIAS
A Resident of Pioneer

Passed away on October 4, 2000, of lung cancer, at age 65. Roy is survived by his wife of 27 years, Harmalene 'Ducki'; step-children, Charisse Stindt of Madera and David Lindsay of Petaluma, and their spouses, Paul Stindt and Linda Lindsay; grandchildren, Christopher Wandt, David Jr. and Arianna Lindsay; brother, Dan Mathias; and sisters, Virginia Durant, June Petty and Annalee Gregory.

A native Californian, Roy spent most of his life in Marin. When he retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1996, Roy and Ducki moved to Pioneer, California in the Sierra Foothills, where he enjoyed country living and frequent travel.

A Memorial Service celebrating Roy's life is planned for a later date in Marin. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roy's memory may be made to Hospice of Amador, 1500 South Highway 49, Suite 205, Jackson, CA 95642, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
