Fra Ermenegildo Cenci entered the Order of the Franciscan Minors under the spiritual guidance of Father Mariano Lombardi OFM., (1910 - 1975). Stricken by tuberculosis, he died at the early age of 21 years, in odour of sanctity. To this day, many adorn his grave with flowers at the cemetery of Mirandola.
