She married Adolph Haas and he preceded her in death in 1948.
Seraphine was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha and was also a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. Her favorite past times were writing poetry and her flower garden.
Seraphine is survived by her children: Bruno (Carol) Haas, Appleton, Paul (Nell) Haas, DePere, Richard Haas, Neenah, Bernadette (Charles) Stadler, Neenah, Loretta Frassetto, Darboy; 26 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Angie Billinger, Victoria, Kansas, a daughter-in-law, Grace Haas, Darboy, a son-in-law, Erean Behrendt, Fremont.
Seraphine was also preceded in death by four sons: Joseph, Herbert, Roland, and Elmer a daughter, Irma and a grandson, Keith Haas.
Funeral services for Seraphine will be held Saturday, December 7, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 212 Appleton St., Menasha with Father Michael Noreika, S.S.S. officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends and family will be received at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of the funeral mass.
