Eugene C. Abel age 68 of Coleman, Wisconsin, died peacefully at home on Friday, November 5, 2004 after an extended illness. He was born on June 20, 1936 son of the late Walter and Ida Abel.

He married the former Eldora Seefeldt on May 30, 1956 in Milwaukee, WI.

He was formerly employed at Bond Foods and then at Nicolet Paper Co. where he retired from in 1999. Eugene was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.

He is survived by his wife Eldora, Coleman;
Three daughters: Debra (Richard) Nordquist, Suamico, WI; Cindy Abel, Abrams, WI and Amy (James) Peterson, Oconto, WI;
Three brothers: Harvey, Fred and Frank Abel;
Two sisters: Geraldine Radzinski (Richard Adamski)and Janice (Robert) Kamin; Four grandchildren: Tara & Tyler Nordquist, Matthew & Casey Peterson.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother John.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Grover from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at 7:00 p.m. The Rev. Charles Learman will be officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery.
