Lionel A. Strock, 81, of Troy Towers died Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at his residence.

Born in Standish, NY, he was son of the late Jesse A. Strock Sr. and Laurel Lamoy Strock and husband of the late Winifred Schreiber Austin Strock. He had resided in Troy until 1991 when he moved to West Sand Lake and later returned to Troy. He attended grade school in Standish and Troy Public School 12 and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Lionel was employed as a warehouse foreman for Union Furniture Company in Troy for 15 years and AWWI in Albany for 12 years, retiring in 1971.

Survivors include a son, Gary L. Strock, of Troy, a daughter, Diana (Jack) Strock Lynsky, of East Greenbush, 8 grandchildren, Mark L. (Jessica), Stacie L. Strock , Christina (Austin) Wilcox, Joseph, Matthew and Erin Lynskey, Henry and Jonathon Bell and 8 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Roseanna F. Bell Strock,a daughter, Altheia Strock Bell, four brothers, Peter J. , Jesse A. Jr, Clinton H. and Vey O. Strock, four sisters Emeryl L. Arrington, Ruth A. Repert, Caroline Cave and Viola Chartier.
