After Theophilus' death in 1838, she married James Henry Jenkins Dazey on Oct. 27, 1839 at Montgomery County, Indiana. They had five children: Christopher John, Sarah Catherine, James Henry Jenkins, Jr., Narcissus Susannah and Eliza Ellen.
