Olive Blanche Grim Courtwright, 79, of Waynesburg R.D.4 (East View), died at 10:15 p.m. Friday, February 18, 1994, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg.

Born April 8, 1914, in Waynesburg, she was a daughter of Ansel and Anna May Breese Tharp.

She was a licensed practical nurse, having worked at Curry Memorial Home for 23 years before retiring in October 1988.

Mrs. Courtwright was a member of Throckmorton United Methodist Church at East View and a member of Emerald Chapter 135, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Gasco Club of Columbia Gas.

On August 5, 1932, she married James Lawrence Grim, who died October 29, 1952. She later married Arett Leroy Courtwright, who is also deceased.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Carl E. (Betty) Ward of East View; a stepson, Donald Courtwright of Delmont; a grandson, Carl Matthew Ward; and a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Kathryn) Kalist of Carmichaels.

COURTWRIGHT - Friends of Olive Blanche Grim Courtwright, of Waynesburg R.D.4 (East View), who died Friday, February 18, 1994, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Behm Funeral Home Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 21, with the Rev. William L. Parker officiating. Interment in Wind Ridge Cemetery.
