Royalty. Dauphin de Viennois and since 1524 titular Duc de Bretagne, succeeding his mother. Eldest son of François I and Claude de France. He was poisoned at the Chateau de Tournon. He was first buried there at the Collegiate church of Saint-Julien de Tournon. On the occasion of his fathers death, he was exhumed and transferred to Paris and was buried with his father at Saint-Denis.
