Lena was the daughter of George W. and Mary E.(King)Gaines. She had four sisters, Caroline, Sybil,Georgia,
and Beulah(my granny).
Lena married James Carl Goodwin, Aug. 18, 1923 in Rhea County, Tennessee and they moved to Ohio where they made their home and raised a family.
Lena and my Granny were very close growing up and I know that my Granny missed her a whole lot because Granny named her children Lena Kathleen, Betty Aleen and Elsie Wilena.
