Daughter of Allen W. Stokes and Susan Maria Walkup; second wife of Tampa Tribune founder, Wallace F. Stovall and mother of Susan M. Stovall. She was divorced at the time of her death, married Wallace Stoval in Tampa 08 Sep 1904.

MRS. FAYE STOVALL DIES AT HOME HERE AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Mrs. Faye Stovall, 42, died yesterday afternoon at her home, 1821 Watrous avenue, after an illness of about nine months.

Mrs. Stovall is survived by her daughter, Miss Susan Stovall; two sisters, Mrs. Mason Witt Rice, of West Palm Beach, and Mrs. J. Bicknell, of Valhalla, N.Y.; two brothers, Clifford Stokes, of Baltimore, and John Stokes of New York, and two aunts, Mrs. J. R. Mickler and Miss Jessie Wauchope, of Tampa.

Funeral services will be held this morning at 10 o'clock at the funeral home of J. L. Reed & Son. The services will be private and the family has requested that no flowers be sent. Pallbearers will be A. C. Clewis, sr., John Wall Lykes, Alvin Magnon, J. H. Mason, Don C. McMullan and J. R. Mickler.

The body will be sent to Washington, accompanied by Miss Stovall and Mrs. Rice, and will be buried in Rock Creek cemetery where Mrs. Stovall's parents are buried.

Mrs. Stovall has been a resident of Tampa for 26 years. She was married at the age of 17.
