The death of George H. Bainbridge, Sr., occurred suddenly, Friday afternoon at this late home in Lacona, N.Y. Mr. Bainbridge was born in Brookly, N.Y., 64 years ago, and for many years resided in Troy, N.Y. He is survived by his wife Clellia Tifft Bainbridge, Lacona, N.Y., a son George H. Bainbridge, Jr., of Schnectady, N.Y., two brothers, Edgar R. Bainbridge of Paterson, N.J., Paige R. Bainbridge, Athens, N.Y., a sister, Mrs. Edward L. Corts of Vineland, N.J., two half sisters, Mrs. Sadie Alsop of Syracuse, N.Y. and Mrs. Henry B. Thomas of Troy, N.Y. Services were held at his late home in Lacona Saturday afternoon. On Monday September 29, burial services was held at The Earl Memorial Chapel, Oakwood Cemetery, Troy, N.Y.
