Mrs. Grace Bachelder
Services for Mrs. Brace Bachelder, 85, of 91 N. Delaplaine rd., Riverside, were held Tuesday in St. Paul’s Episcopal church in Riverside. Mrs. Bachelder died Saturday in MacNeal Memorial hospital, Berwyn. She was the widow of Joseph E. Bachelder, a former vice president of the Fairbanks-Morse Water Supply company, and was a daughter of George B. Swift, who was mayor of Chicago in the 1890s. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Peterson; a son Joseph E. Bachelder Jr., and a sister and brother.
