Lavonne Platt Lavonne Platt Aug. 13, 1920 - June 19, 2005 CROSSVILLE, Tenn. - Former Anderson resident Lavonne Platt, 84, of Crossville, Tenn., passed away June 19, 2005. She was born Aug. 13, 1920, in Elwood, Ind., the daughter of Merle and Eva Davis Hook. She was a homemaker. She is survived by a son, Carl (wife, Teresa) Platt of Crossville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Carla Tuttle, Tawnia Justice and April Thearp; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Platt Sr.; and a brother, Harley Hook. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, Anderson, with Brother Eric Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
