MECK GILLHAM
Meck White, daughter of James and Mary Ann White, was born in Lucas County, Iowa March 5, 1865, and died at Russell, Iowa, April 6, 1937, aged 72 years, 1 month and 1 day.
She was united in marriage to Nat Andrews, July 5, 1887. To this union three children were born, Louie E. of Russell, James Warren, who died September 22, 1932 and a daughter, Cecil, who died in infancy.
On August 22, 1893, she was united in marriage to Edmund Gillham, who passed away August 11, 1913. Four children were born to this union, Lloyd of Veronia, Oregon and three who died in infancy.
Besides her two sons, she leaves five grandsons, Vern Andrews, of Chicago, Ill., Keith and Dorn Andrews, of Russell, and Warren and Junior Gillham, of Veronia, Oregon, one brother, John I. White of Maybell, Colorado and a host of relatives and friends. Five sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at the home Thursday, April 8th, conducted by Al DeGroot. Burial was made in the Russell, Cemetery.
