Canton, IL - Mary Ann Klindworth, 73, of Canton died at 6:47 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Mary Ann was born September 7, 1940 in Henderson, Kentucky to Benjamin and Louise (Williams) Hancock. She married Lloyd Klindworth on June 16, 1962 in Henderson, KY. He survives.

Also surviving are three children, Kris (Christine) Klindworth, Kelvin Klindworth and Kathy (Eric) Davis; one sister, Donna (Terry) Husk; and six grandchildren, Katie and Lauren Klindworth, and Grace, Hope, Isaiah, and Josiah Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jim Hancock.

Mary Ann was a Registered Nurse for 52 years, working primarily in the home healthcare field. She helped to organize the first hospice program in Fulton County and also helped to form Christian Service Program, an inter-faith senior assistance program in Canton.

She was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She volunteered with the Court Appointed Special Associates for Children (CASA), and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
