Mrs. Eames, who died at the age of 83 in Cleveland, Ohio, was originally a native of Hagerstown.
She was the daughter of Governor William T. Hamilton, whose family has long been associated with Hagerstown.
Mrs. Eames is survived by a son, Hamilton Eames, educational director of the American Economic Foundation, New York City.
Services were private and were conducted by the Rev. Walter B. McKinley.
