MR. ROSTON MACK "Big A" ADAMS, age 63, of Milan, GA, died Thursday, October 3, 2013 in Chauncey, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, October 5, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Tim Brown officiating, with interment in Milan City Cemetery.
Mr. Adams was born in Dodge County, was of the Baptist faith, and was a self employed carpenter and mechanic. He was a talented craftsman and built Stuckey Stores in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He also enjoyed building race engines for Tim Adams and Craig Ussery racing teams. He was the son of the late Susie Greene Adams and Roscoe Adams, Sr. He was preceded in death by his Brother – Roscoe "Junior" Adams, Jr.; 4 Sisters – Linda Coleman, Wanda Keeling, Donna Evans, and Oncean Adams.
The family may be contacted at the Adams residence, 13 Seay Street, Milan, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, October 4. In addition to flowers the family requests donations to The Gideons International.
