Cornelia Story Jenkins, originally from Brookeville, MD, gracefully passed away at her daughter, Darlene's house in Tampa, surrounded by her family on March 1, 2013. Cornelia was born July 16, 1923. She graduated from Sherwood High School, Class of 1940 (Go Sherwood). She lived a wonderful life having eight children with the love of her life Garnett G. Jenkins. deceased. We are forever grateful for the life and love she gave to us, her sons, Dennis, Donald, Dell, Dorsey, and Douglas, her daughters, Doris, Diane and Darlene. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at Salem United Methodist Church, Brookeville, MD on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. and interment at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 10 a.m.
