Janet, 74, of Hart, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013.
She was born to Verne and Christina (Shisler) Skinner.

She graduated from Hart High School in the Class of 1957 and married Herbert Herrygers on July 12, 1957, at the Hart United Methodist Church.

She was employed as a teacher's aide/paraprofessional at Hart Public Schools until 1979 and worked at Powers Clothing Store from 1981-1991. The Herrygers wintered in Ocala, Florida. She enjoyed playing cards and was a great wife, mother, and grandmother.

Janet is survived by her husband, Herbert Herrygers; three sons, Gene Herrygers of Mears, Michael (Lonna) Herrygers of Montague, and Steven (Kimberly) Herrygers of Jenison; six grandchildren, Sean and Matt Herrygers, Trevor and Abby Herrygers, J.C. Herrygers, and Aubrey Kruger; one sister, Mary Sue (Richard) Carnes of Mears; mother-in-law, Velma Herrygers of Hart; two brothers-in-law, Bob (Joanne) Herrygers and Dan (Kathy) Herrygers, both of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law, August Herrygers; and her brother-in-Law, August Herrygers, Jr.

The memorial service for Mrs. Herrygers was Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the King Funeral Home in Hart with Pastor Rebecca Wieringa officiating.

The family requests that any memorials be directed to Harbor Hospice, Muskegon, MI or to American Cancer Society, Grand Rapids, MI
