"FUNERALS - Friend R Henderson - The body of Friend R Henderson arrived in the city from Tulsa, Okla, at 1:30 yesterday afternoon and was taken to the home of Frank E Kerr at Shelmadine Springs, where funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock this (Monday) afternoon. The interment will be made in the Henderson cemetery. The deceased was born near Titusville on October 18, 1859, and his early life was spent in this vicinity. For the past seventeen years he had been engaged as a drilling contractor in the Mid-Continental oil fields with headquarters at Tulsa. He suffered a paralytic stroke on May 18, and scarcely regained consciousness until the end came on the afternoon of June 18. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs Eugena Kerr and Miss Josephine Henderson, both of this city."
