Actress. She received notoriety as a Bollywood actress. The Hindi cinema is often known as Bollywood and formerly as Bombay cinema. As a child, Madhubala had a small role in the movie "Basant," but she attracted notoriety and eventually became a star after her work in "Mahal." Her other movies include "Neel Kamal," "Amar Prem," "Chittor Vijay," and "Paras." She learned to speak English and enjoyed watching American movies. Madhubala married singer Kishore Kumar, but it was an abusive relationship and her husband was not faithful to her. At age 17, she was diagnosed with a heart problem, but she continued to act. She traveled to London hoping to receive treatment for her heart condition, but doctors stated she was not a candidate for surgery since they did not think she would survive the operation. During her last days, her family had to guard her to make sure Kishore would not harass her. When she died, she was buried with her diary.
